Critter Tailz Fun Fact: After laying a single egg, the female Emperor Penguin transfers the egg to the male for incubation. Until it hatches two months later he will keep it warm, without returning to the sea to feed. Emperor penguins are the largest penguins in the world, reaching a height of three feet. They live all their lives in Antarctica, and although not currently on the endangered list they are considered to be 'near threatened'.
